About Me

My name is Vladimir Mokhov and I'm a 3D generalist. I got started making 3D animated shorts back in middle school, learning all the different facets of computer animation as I went. Many of them are still available to watch on my Youtube channel.

I then graduated from the 4-year bachelor of animation program at Sheridan College in 2018 (Oakville, Ontario), and have worked on a number of different projects at various studios including 2D puppet-animated kids series, motion capture and gaming, and 3D animated feature films. You can see these in my "Experience" tab, as well as my portfolio above.

I've also recently co-founded a business with a couple of colleagues called TOAnimate, which offers training courses for animation, as well as providing rigs, assets and a forum community.

I've always had equal interest in both the technical as well as the artistic side. I enjoy drawing as much as I enjoy learning python coding (or HTML/CSS to build this website) and often bounce between both. I think despite being different disciplines, they share just as much creativity and problem solving involved to help reach the final goal. That coupled with the ability to collaborate with others is probably what I like most about my work.
